My Students
My students are all from the inner city. We are a Title I school that only serves girls. We are the first all-female school in our public school system. My girls are hardworking, dedicated and determined young ladies who always rise above all the naysayers. Our school provides a rigorous education that is needed in today's society. We are an academically focused school that will show everyone that we have beauty and brains. She believed she could, so she did!
My Project
My student-athletes are in need of reusable water bottles and a 3-gallon water bottle in order to fill them up. My students get thirsty throughout practice and in this COVID-19 world we are living in a water fountain is not practical or safe.
Each girl having her own reusable water bottle will keep her safe and hydrated as well as we will be keeping our part of the world plastic bottle free.
The water bottles will last all year and give my student-athletes the opportunity to stay hydrated throughout each practice.
