it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read and explore. They are eager readers, scientists, and explorers. My students will utilize the headphones to help improve their reading and writing skills, listening to the scientists in documentaries during research time. We are fortunate to be able to use Chromebooks in our classroom. The students can type their writing assessments on Google Classroom and also have access to many audiobooks on the internet as well.
Having a pair of headphones for each student will significantly improve my students' reading and writing skills.
When writing in Google Classroom, they have the option to listen to their writing being read back to them which helps them to find mistakes and edit their work. In addition, listening to audiobooks while following the words on the screen has proven to help students improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition. With the help of the headphones, they can expand their learning from listening to actual scientists which will motivate them to become great learners.
