Help me give my students a new 3D pen. We had one broken this year and the students are really beginning to use it. They created the Eiffel tower, a bridge and today one is creating a dinosaur!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in the small Texas town of El Paso, surrounded by beautiful bilingual students who want to make this world a better place by learning all they can about science, technology, engineering, and math.
The kids here are blessings in my life!
They are ready to experience, and they appreciate learning and sharing what they have learned and putting it to good use to better serve their community. I know no one becomes a teacher to be rich; we become teachers because we love kids and we want to make a difference in their lives.
I hope to have a classroom where kids can explore, learn, create, and solve! Programming is new to them and they want to get better at it!
My Project
We recently had a 3D pen broken and now we only have one student at that station at a time. this kit comes with a pen and filament in a variety of colors. When the new year begins we can start creating!
We already have created bridges, towers, we want to begin designing dinosaurs and other animals to learn about their structures.
STEM is a very big part of our school environment and we hope we can get our pen replaced before the year begins! The 3D pen has been a hit in our school and we still have many that have not tried it.
