This is a group of fifth-grade students who are so excited to learn and come to school every day. They are girls and boys with so many unique qualities and interests. They love to read about history, animals, places, and people. Every day they set out to learn new things from their books! They deserve the absolute best every day and are so thankful for all that they receive. These students need the tools to help them excel!
It is incredibly difficult to provide absolutely everything for my students and every donation will make a difference for this wonderful group of boys and girls.
It is my goal to make sure that these students have the best learning experience and materials as possible.
My Project
We will be studying the Civil Rights Movement and Underground Railroad in addition to other famous historical time periods in our next reading unit. It would be great to have some more diverse books for students to learn from.
This is a collection of both historical fiction books, and nonfiction books for students to learn from.
They will be able to learn about the time period, in addition to analyzing the characters and the hardships that they had to go through during these time periods.
These books will help students understand the time periods better and also hopefully will allow them to make some types of connections to the characters as they read their stories.
