This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second graders love to interact with each other. The best way to promote proper social skills is to play games. Games teach us how to negotiate, cooperate, and gracefully win or lose. They help us to become better at communicating with our peers and to learn skills such as turn-taking and teamwork.
The Lakeshore Math Folder Game Libraries, along with other math and reading games, will help my students develop their social and teamwork skills while practicing math and reading concepts. These are all experiences that are important life skills and will make a positive impact on their lives.
