We Need Comfortable Chairs For Our Reading Center!

My students need comfortable chairs for the reading center as well as atlases.

My Students

Teaching the Gifted and Talented is an amazing job that I am honored to do. Being a novice Gifted teacher, I do not have many of the supplies that my students require to explore their world through in-class assignments and projects. Together, we can challenge students to go above and beyond!

They are the coolest, the most unique, and the most creative individuals!

I teach 3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade Gifted classes in a school where many of our students live in poverty.

In Gifted Education, there are a lot of much needed supplies for lessons! Many students at my school have limited exposure to outside resources such as museums, public libraries, educational excursions, and exposure to different cultures. My students want to learn. Any activity that challenges them is encouraged.

My Project

My students love reading books and I am trying to make a kid friendly reading area for them to enjoy.

My classroom does not have a comfortable place for the kids to sit and read books in the reading center.

All they can sit on right now is a small carpet on the floor.

In addition, I am trying to add to my collection of updated student atlases. Many of the reference materials I have are antiquated and outdated. The students really enjoy the newer atlases that we currently have in the classroom. I aspire to one day have enough for every student to have their own!
