Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students attend a Pre-K through 4th grade public school. Most of our students come from low socio-economic backgrounds. We have some awesome students. They are hard working and they try their best. Technology is the key to their future. Our school is trying very hard to make it possible for each student to have access to a Chromebook in the classroom. I would like to help by trying to get 5 Chromebooks for my classroom. This will allow my students instant access to technology for research. This will also enable me to use technology for differentitation at any given time during the day. Students would also be able to log on to Istation, iLearn, and other programs/apps to help with individualized learning.

My Project

At WBE, we are excited to be implementing technology into our classrooms. The donation of these Chromebooks will enhance learning in my classroom. With the ever changing world of technology, my students need updated technology to keep up.

The students will use them to bring the outside world into our classroom.

With these Chromebooks, my students will be able to access Google classroom assignments daily instead of just once a week. Daily access to technology will increase rigor and engagement in my classroom. It also helps to differentiate assignments in a moments notice. Daily access to technology can help the to succeed in fourth grade!
