Help me give my students a variety of books that pertain to their interests and are on their levels such as the Bad Guys, Purrmaids, About Fish and Dork Diaries.
I've had many positions at my school over the past 14 years (first grade, third grade, fourth grade, Math Coach and CRT), I'm most excited about my new position for next year, 5th grade teacher! I'm moving up from fourth to fifth and would love to have some books that match my student's interests and on their levels for our reading corner! This project will provide everything my partner teacher and I need to update our reading corner to fit our fifth graders needs! I teach at a Title-I school located in Central Florida, 98% of students at my school are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches. Next year, my partner teacher and I will teach all subjects to our fifth graders.
This project will provide our fifth graders with a variety of books not only on their reading levels but on topics they are interested in.
I selected series that were written on fifth and sixth grade levels and picked series that my students are currently interested in.
