My students attend a school that houses Kindergarten through 5th grade. I currently have 25 kiddos in my classroom that love to learn!
My students are very excited about learning to read in Kindergarten!
My Kindergarten students are eager to learn how to read once they enter Kindergarten. As they become readers, it's important to increase their confidence in their ability to read. To do this, I provide my students with Decoable Readers. We introduce these easy-to-read books by creating our book boxes.
My students will have the opportunity to decorate their book boxes with markers, stickers, and other craft materials.
If I provide my students with sturdier, plastic book boxes, I will be able to let my students read to their heart's content. I will also be able to send my students' book boxes home, as the plastic book boxes will latch shut. These book boxes will help foster my student's love for reading and help them become more confident in their ability to read.
