This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dear Donors, my students are preschool level children who need big books to be read to them on a daily basis to help foster their language and pro-social skills. The books Crazy Hair Day and Handas Surprise are great books that teach skills such as sharing, appreciation of others, making connections with others and compassion. Additionally my students need laminating Pouches to preserve pictures of people, countries, animals, the environment and their community. These pictures will help foster my student's language, knowledge and pro-social skills, as the children will use the pictures to answer the question of the day, have conversations of what they see and notice and to overall learn to appreciate others, animals and their environment.
