My Project

Over the past two years, the students at my school have struggled to keep up with the ever-increasing academic standards put forth by the state and the nation. Since they have been inconsistently in school, they haven't had the opportunity to truly build the foundational reading skills that they need to move to third grade.

I am requesting a leveled library to help support my students' their literacy skills.

My students LOVE learning more about what we are studying, and with your donation, I will be able to provide a full library of content-related books for them to enjoy both in class and at home. Our current books are out-dated, culturally inappropriate, falling apart, and just plain boring. It has been nearly 10 years since we have had new books, and these children are in need of some.

We truly appreciate your contribution. My students are obsessed with reading and that's entirely because of access to good literature, so thank you for helping to provide them that!
