My Students

Our students are eager to learn and hard workers. They come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures and are thrilled to offer details about themselves, their ideas, and their experiences. This group of students has not had easy lives. Theirs is not a wealthy community. However, these 4th and 5th graders are rich in personality and enthusiasm!

When it comes time to share, there is no end to the hands waving in the air wanting to communicate thoughts and connect with our classroom community.

Their likes and dislikes, their goals and dreams...this is a group of students who wonder and participate! Every day, their inquisitive attitudes tell me that they think that the world is an interesting place, filled with ideas and things that they are eager to share and explore.

My Project

Our school has very limited resources. Our fourth and fifth grade teachers are all new to the school and have very few basic supplies to use for teaching and learning activities.

We want to give our students the best learning experiences we can!

These basic supplies can be used in all subjects and throughout the year from writing feedback during publishing parties to creating dynamic group projects and class research posters. Whether it be in creating book reports, art collage journals, or scientific illustrations, these paints, papers, and supplies will allow our students creative options and enhanced learning projects.
