We Need Basic School Supplies to Be Successful!

Help me give my students pencils, composition books, notebooks, erasers, dry erase markers, copy paper, desk wipes and tissue so they can be successful this school year!

My Students

I teach fourth grade at a Title I school in Central Florida. I teach reading, language arts, and social studies to 45 students. I have students who come from a variety of social, behavioral and emotional backgrounds as well as students who speak English as a Second Language and special needs students.

Very few students come to school prepared with the necessary materials; I want all of my students to start the first day with the needed materials to be successful.

My Project

This project will supply all of my fourth-grade​ students with the requested materials listed on the school supply list. Each year only a handful of students come equipped with the needed supplies. Not only are students embarrassed because they do not have the needed materials but they also feel unprepared which negatively affects their learning experience. These basic resources (notebooks, composition books, pencils, pencil pouches) will change my students' lives for the better because it will provide them with the basic learning tools they need for school. With these resources, my students will be able to participate in their daily lessons and be successful!

This project is so important to me because it will provide all of my fourth graders with the resources they need to be successful in the classroom.

This will provide them with basic learning tools which they desperately need. Without your help, I would not be able to furnish my classroom with these basic learning supplies. Thank you for contributing to the achievement of my fourth grade students.
