This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is excited to launch its first Student Council in the upcoming school year—a dynamic initiative designed to empower students, foster leadership, and cultivate a more inclusive school environment.

The Student Council will serve as a platform for students to voice their ideas, advocate for positive changes, and actively participate in shaping school culture.

By engaging in democratic processes, students will learn valuable skills in leadership, communication, and civic responsibility. The council aims to promote monthly activities that nurture equal opportunities and emphasize the importance of recognizing diversity among staff and students. The medals, decorations, and I Voted stickers will help kick off our student election process.
