Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to work at the water table, it provides opportunities for students to develop many skills. They are able to measure, compare, and make predictions at the water table. Currently, our water table is now broken on its side making it unable to be used at the moment!!! We would love to provide our students with a new water table to continue to explore and ask questions!
The water table helps students build fine motor skills as the pour, squeeze and drip water through cups, funnels and tubes.
We use the water table every day for learning and play. The amazing water table is a great learning experience.
It’s an awesome STEM tool as well! This table will provide the students with language, problem solving skills, understanding sharing and kindness.
We are also requesting new waterproof aprons that our students can use at the sand/water table! Our current aprons are not holding up to its purpose of protecting our students' clothes. Let's fix that!
