Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are learning how to deal with all the different emotions that occur daily, while they are at school.They need a place to go to, that can provide a variety of ways to help them work through their emotions.
Comfort and safety is key in helping my students develop their social and emotional skills, so that they can learn how to identify and manage their emotions in more effective and appropriate manners.
This social and emotional kit, will encourage children to take a break and go to an area that is comfortable and safe, and that provides them with fun and engaging tools to help them sort out their emotions in a more calm and effective way.
