We Need a Place to Calm Down!

Help me give my students a calming corner which includes a soft carpet, led lights and fidgets.

My Project

My calming corner will allow students who need frequent mental breaks or need a place to understand their emotions to go to as needed. If my students know they have the option of going to the calming corner, they may feel more ease in my classroom. We need a soft carpet, dim lightening and fidgets so the students can gain control.

After using the calming corner, students will be ready to think and learn again when they rejoin us in the classroom.

Having these calming corner materials readily available inside my classroom will make for a more whole child teaching experience with a strong focus on mental health.
