This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the greatest students in the world. They are always excited to try new things, especially anything that requires baking.
I teach high school culinary arts in the Bronx.
We truly love to try new things, especially when it comes to baking and decorating. We love to make our own fresh icings and frostings for the numerous different types of cookies we make. This holiday season, we prepared numerous boxes of cookies for staff members and visitors.
My Project
We need a mixer to begin the process of replacing our seriously old, slow moving mixers. This will allow us to work at maximum capacity, having something that actually moves quickly. We will be able to integrate this mixer into the numerous things we do in our baking unit.
We truly appreciate our donors, especially the ones who are there with us year round.
The kids understand and appreciate the fact that strangers take a vested interest in their education. We thank you in advance for your support.
