Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The student population at my school is 95% Hispanic, 3% African American, 1% Caucasian, and 1% Asian. Over 80% of the students in my room are learning English as a Second Language. I see about a thousand students every week, from Kindergarten to grade five.
My school is located in one of the poorest areas of the state.
Our families are plagued by poverty and high unemployment rates. All of the students receive free or reduced rate lunch, and some of them even go home without food on the weekends.
My Project
We are requesting an iPad keyboard to use with our iPad.
This keyboard will allow us to quickly type on our iPad and will protect it for years to come!
With a case, we can ensure a long life for the iPad by preventing it from drops, scrapes, and damages. Along with a case, the Apple iPad Smart Keyboard will allows us to use the iPad to its full potential. The keyboard will make it easy for us to type on it!
My students are extremely motivated to use technology in Art class and I know they would love all of the use of the Apple Smart Keyboard.
