My Students

Our library is the center of learning in our diverse population. Our students visit the library often for a variety of reasons and we want to continue to serve them. Brockton is a large urban public school with almost 4000 students in the high school alone. Brockton operates its own school system for the city's approximately 15,600 students

We are the city of champions, and want to continue being that!.

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 80% of our students receiving free lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.

My Project

Reading happens everyday in the classroom. Having this rug in my classroom will make a big difference with my students success in the classroom. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Instead of sitting at their desk or the title floor, the students will be able to sit in a cozy spot around the room. They are more likely to read if they are in a spot they are comfortable in.

Your generous donation to our project will improve our third grade classroom by building a stronger reader.

This also allows students to get a clip board and work on the rug. Students should be have to sit at a desk all day and work. Movement breaks will allow students to focus when they are doing their work.

This will change our students' lives for the better because they will love school and feel success at an early age --- having fun while learning! By being able to gift them with items to make their work easier and more special they will continue to work hard. A little appreciation goes a long way to students and my students give so much.
