My students need 1 rug for their new preschool classroom so they will have a meeting area throughout the year.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. L.'s classroom raised $513
This project is fully funded
My Students
Can you imagine not having rug in Preschool? Well, that is the reality that our preschoolers are facing now due to lack of school funds. My students love to get on the floor and do activities, but can't because there is no rug to do so. If they had a rug they could do so many activities.
My students all come from low-income and poverty stricken neighborhoods on the Westside of Chicago, but just because their economic status isn't they still have the drive to learn in spite of their circumstance.
They love to do floor activities, but since they don't have a rug they are limited to a lot of things.
My Project
By having classroom rug, my students will not be limited to things they can and can not do. They will be able to do partner reading on the rug, which they love to do. They can work with their math manipulatives on the rug. They will be able to do group games on the rug. The rug will give them a sense of being at home when at school. The students will have the opportunity to go to the rug once all their work is done at their desk and read their books there. The students will be very comfortable on the rug when while doing different activities. Overall, having a rug will truly make a difference in the lives of the students so that they can work with their partners comfortably while learning.
By supporting this project, you will be providing a comfortable way that the students can learn.
The students won't be limited to just doing activities in their chairs at the tables, but will be able to enjoy working on their rug. They will be able to do so many activities on the rug while being comfortable doing it. This rug will truly make a difference in the students lives in their preschool classroom. Please have a heart and donated to our projects so we can have a classroom rug!
