This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We do not have a classroom carpet. My students would love a soft and comfortable carpet to sit on. This carpet will be used during lessons, read alouds, group and individual activities. Right now my students sit on the floor. It would be nice to have a classroom carpet with designated spots for them to work on. I know my students would enjoy sitting on this carpet and working with their peers. Students learn best when they are comfortable. Having a classroom carpet will allow my students to feel comfortable while they learn and work.
