My Students
My school is a charter school located in North Minneapolis. The school serves students who receive 100% free and reduced-price lunch. Students come to school each day eager to learn and ready to work hard. I teach the 4th-grade girls class. Being in an all-girls setting allows for us to become a tight-knit class, more like a family and we have formed a sisterhood.
I want my girls to leave each day feeling empowered, enabled, and engaged in their learning and their education.
My Project
Our students have been working extremely hard all school year, both academically and behaviorally. They are achieving great things and blowing goals out of the park!
We want to provide them with the opportunity to celebrate these successes.
We have a field trip planned to the Roller Gardens for the end of the school year, but we need your help getting there. This project will cover the cost of round trip bus transportation to the Roller Gardens for our amazing 3rd and 4th grade students there.
It's important to have things to look forward to and to continue to work towards. Our students will be extremely thankful if you can make this wish for a field trip to the Roller Gardens come true!
