Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the fall I will be teaching an ESL Special Education classroom. All of my students qualify for free lunch and come from low-income​ homes.

I work with students from many different backgrounds.

English is a second language for many of my students. My school is one of the biggest schools in the state.

New colorful posters will help create a beautiful inviting classroom environment for all of my students! My goal this year is to create a quality learning environment that will help support my students’ social emotional learning as well as academics.

The ABC Alphabet banner, Numbers banner, and name plates will allow my students to easily access letter names and sounds and math concepts such as counting, addition, and subtraction. My students will be able to refer to these posters/banners daily throughout the school year.

We also need new pencil boxes, a shoe organizer to keep our classroom supplies accessible, bins to keep materials organized, and an rolling cart organizer so we can stay organized!

Thank you for helping us start the new year right with new beautiful banners, decorations, and classroom essentials to help us stay organized.
