Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are international students that are living below the poverty line. They have really struggled during the pandemic because our school is an all English Language Learner school, and so trying to have instruction online with students that have yet to learn the language has been very challenging. Despite the challenges, our students have pulled through with resilience and we want to recognize that with a practical gift that they can use at school, home or wherever they are to remember that together we pulled through this challenging time.
This tumbler with custom art work will help our students stay hydrated whether at school or at home.
It will allow students to keep drinks cold or hot and the art work will remind them of their resilience, commitment and dedication to their educational endeavors.
