My Students
This year I am welcoming new students to my classroom. I am excited to get to know them, but it will need to be virtually for now. From what I know, they are all excited to learn and start first grade.
My class consists of 22 amazing students!
My school is all about being a community and working and growing together. They have grown so much as learners, and it would be great to be able to provide them with more opportunities and supplies to benefit their needs.
My Project
School may look different right now, but one thing remains the same, our love for reading.
No matter where we are, books can still bring us together.
Books have the power to bring us to new worlds and see ourselves as characters throughout different stories.
This project features books with diverse characters, books to serve as mentor texts in reading and writing workshop, newly published books, and some of our favorite older books! Each book has several lessons that can be taught and lessons in reading, writing, phonics, and vocabulary!
