Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a Title I school where all our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I teach 2nd-grade bilingual students who are eager to learn.

My students look forward to learning each and every day.

I truly enjoy teaching 2nd graders; their outlook on learning makes my job enjoyable.

My Project

These materials will be used by my students. They will be able to go to the writing center and enjoy practicing what we just learned. My students will be able to practice their writing skills, while they learn they'll feel like they're playing while they're manipulating the materials. They will be able to practice their reading as well. Center time is a time for my students to expand on what I've been teaching while allowing me the flexibility to work on guided writing, reading, and math groups at my teacher's table.
