We Love to Read!

My students need high interest books on tape and mystery readers to keep them engaged and excited about reading

This project is fully funded

My students will read for hours if they are interested in what they are reading. I teach a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade learning support class in a school that has a 98% poverty rate. They all are behind in their reading level and desperately want to be reading at their grade level.

My students love to listen to books and practice reading along with the tape. The problem is that my students have listened to all the books on tape that we have in the classroom and they are excited and ready for some new books. They also love to read mysteries and try to solve them.

I need a single book set of 16 books on cd and a set of mystery readers that my students can read independently. This will continue to engage them in reading and help them raise their reading level to where it needs to be.

If this project is funded, I cannot tell you how much my students will be ecstatic to be able to pick new and exciting books that they want to read and listen to. By funding this project you will help these students meet their reading level goals.
