This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special because they are so excited to learn and never give up!! We are wanting to make centers to help them learn life skills. If our project is funded, the students will have more opportunities to practice these life skills on a daily basis, which will help them become more confident and independent! We are also wanting new sensory items for our classroom to help meet our students needs in this area. We also want some toys to encourage them to move, crawl, and learn. They love toys that light up and have music! We use switches in our room to learn vocabulary and communicate our wants and needs. We need ink for our printer so we can print labels for our switches.
