Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach first grade which includes several reading, writing, social studies, and science units that I love to connect to interdisciplinary areas. Students are extremely engaged and apply learned skills when we break out the paint. Right now, I am using the paint from my house, which belongs to my own kids. I lug it back and forth between school and home because crafting brings my students so much joy.
These paintbrushes, the paint, and organization totes will help us show our learning through many modalities.
