My Students

My second grade students come to school eager to learn everyday. These students love to learn by working together to explore, research, and participate in learning activities and projects.

My students are eager learners who work very hard everyday to achieve their learning goals.

My students come from diverse economic backgrounds and from home situations that children should not have to even think about let alone deal with. But, when they come to school they know that they have a safe place to learn and have a chance to soar like eagles and be successful in life.

My Project

We work to improve our reading skills everyday in class. Every student at every reading level deserves and needs appropriate, engaging materials to help them achieve their goal of being better readers. These materials will give all my students, regardless of their reading abilities, activities that they can use to practice and improve.

By donating these reading materials you are enabling students to be successful at all reading levels.

Students who are struggling with phonics and blending will have engaging books and activities to practice with and students who are on grade level or above will also have engaging books to read. With the fulfillment of this project all of my students will have what they need to help achieve their reading goals.
