My Project
These types of puzzles and brain teasers are proven to strengthen students' critical thinking skills and enhance their love of problem-solving. These are skills that directly impact students, learning and loving math. We enjoy using these types of puzzles in our math intervention classroom to introduce problem solving tactics and confidence boosters. We also use these types of puzzles in gen ed math class to give students a brain break from traditional pencil-paper assignments. By having a classroom set of puzzles, we will also be able to set up challenges and engaging activities that include these types of non-curricular activities, like the escape rooms that really hype up student involvement.
