This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pete the Cat is a beloved character in our room. Pete the Cat books are a fabulous way for students to fall in love with reading and increase their reading comprehension skills. As we always say in preschool, Pete the Cat knows a lot about that!

Every year we get new groups of students with different interest!

One common interest that students have every year is their love and excitement for Pete the Cat books. Pete the Cat has become a fantastic positive behavioral incentive in room 108 as well. Pete the Cat is a educational and fun resource that students will work for, request, and also want to learn from.

We are looking to expand our Pete the Cat books series and also incorporate some wonderful educational games that are Pete the Cat themed. My team is working to create Pete the Cat themed positive behavior rewards as well. Pete the Cat stickers will be a game changer! We work to meet each students' individualized educational needs and Pete the Cat can help us do that!
