This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are seeking donations of Lego building sets. My students love using their imaginations to write short scripts and create stop-motion movies. The students are excited about bringing their ideas to life through the medium of film.

This process not only engages them in storytelling and artistic creation but also introduces them to valuable technical skills.

These sets will allow the students to build their own custom worlds and characters, giving their stories a new dimension and providing hands-on experience in both art and engineering.

I am a technology teacher in a lower-income elementary school where our diverse students are passionate about creativity and learning. Our school places a strong emphasis on integrating art into the curriculum, and my goal is to blend technology with artistic expression.
