My Project

Every day high school students have a half-hour of downtime where they engage in a variety of activities. Currently, their choices are basketball, walking, chess club, board games, sculpting, and more. Students are asking teachers to set up Lego activities for them as they want to build.

Legos allow students to build the world they dream of.

They enjoy taking pieces and putting them together. Legos allow them to work on their fine motor skills. Lego works on their ability to follow directions. Legos allow them to initiate and be part of conversations among their peers and staff. Any student regardless of their background can do this and feel a sense of belonging.

And students are asking for more activities to engage in. Legos is one activity they would love!
