Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title I public school in Arizona. A majority of our students come from poverty or come from a home where English is not the first language.

I am the community preschool teacher at my school.

My preschool students range in age from 3 through 5 years old. Half of my students are on an IEP for speech and language. My students come to school eager to learn each and every day. I absolutely love my students!

My Project

Our students love to learn their ABC's. This project will give our students many fun ways to learn their ABC's.

Our literacy center will be a hit in our preschool classroom!

Students will have their choice of alphabet puzzles, playdough letter stamps, or alphabet stencils just to name a few. This will give our preschool students are fun way to learn the alphabet.

These alphabet activities will be able to be used in multiple centers in our classroom. The materials can be used year round as we introduce new letters or at the end of the year for review of the alphabet.
