My students need 3 tablets in order to help enhance their education. Some students need this for intervention and to meet their needs and others need it to challenge them.
Students are moving into the current times and trying to use technology. I would like them to have easy, daily access to technology in the classroom and a way to do this is with tablets.
There are 18 students who work towards expanding their knowledge.
Some have IEP services. Some students do not have Internet access at home and only use the technology when they are at school. They all have varying abilities in all academic areas. Our school is in a rural community.
My Project
I would like to be able to have all students be able to research when they have questions. They have many questions all day long. Students who need different interventions can access these through apps that are on the tablets. The 3 tablets will be a second nature item in the classroom in order to make learning fun and interactive as well as building life long learning skills.
This project will make a huge difference in our classroom.
Students will be able to drive what they want to learn during centers and other points during the day. They will be able to look up information quickly and not wait for me to be able to get to the computer. Students who need interventions in areas will also have quick access to these interventions with the tablets.
