My Students

I work in extremely high poverty with free lunch and breakfast for all of the students in my school. My students never fail to amaze me. They rise to any challenges; they face and teach me new things every day.

I have a large group of kindergartners ready to blossom as readers, writers, and mathematicians.

School is a fun and safe place for my students, and it is my job to make sure they want to come to my class and have what they need to be successful. I need to make sure my students are safe.

My Project

This past year we have learned numbers, letters, and sight words using Heidi Songs. I was so impressed with this program I would like to continue to use her resources for another year. My students LOVE learning with these fun interactive songs with movements. They beg to listen to the over and over again.

I would love to have the songs AND resources this year to keep learning through song.

Heidi songs has resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers. the gift cards will give me access to the worksheets, the songs as well as an organization cart to keep them all in the room. In Kindergarten it is a way to get my students up and moving while learning at the same time.
