We Love Heggerty

Help me give my students materials for high-quality phonics instruction in my SOR classroom. Phonics and Phonemic awareness are necessary for beginning readers. Heggerty is a high-quality program that increases growth in both.

My Project

My First graders are so eager to learn to read! These daily phonemic awareness lessons will further their learning about both phonemic awareness and phonics. These books help us practice what we know. Reading books that are decodable allow students to gain more confidence and practice previously taught skills.

Heggerty is a high-quality program that provides children with the tools they need to continue learning about words and how to take them apart.

First graders are learning all about vowels, consonants, diagraphs, consonant blends, diphthongs and vowel teams with support from SOR aligned lessons.
