We Love Heavy Metal...But Not In A Chair

My students need lightweight chairs that are Kindergarten friendly. These chairs will be easier to put up at the end of the day. 😀

My Students

Every day I walk into my Kindergarten classroom in Queens and my students are excited and passionate about learning. They work cooperatively with each other and always strive for their best! This makes me proud and honored to be their teacher. My wish for them is to have tables and chairs that are more Kindergarten friendly. Our desk are rectangular and children are squished for space. This is especially challenging during writing. Our chairs are a heavy metal and this makes it extremely difficult for them to put up the chairs at the end of each day so that the floors can be swept. Please fund my project so that my students can work comfortably in a personal space.

My Project

We are required to put up the chairs every day so the floors can be swept. The chairs we have now are so heavy and bulky that the children struggle to put them on top of the desks. These color coded chairs are not only beautiful but lightweight too. The chairs will help to color code the room making it easier for students to remember the table they are a part of . If we receive these chairs it will help make the end of day routine so much easier for all of us! Please help to fund our project.
