This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The incredible books that are a part of this project will be added to our school library and be available to over 500 elementary age students.

Our school has a diverse population, and these stories and books represent the cultures and experiences of many of our students.

Seeing characters such as themselves in these stories will have such a positive impact for the many children I teach every week.

I plan to use many of the books in my weekly lessons, and to have available for students to check out and bring home.
