Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us to put new titles into our developing readers' hands. These new books will support all students regardless of reading level. The settings are diverse, and the characters are multi-faceted. Students will read about varying emotions and growth while facing many obstacles. These books will provide students with many scenarios in which to picture themselves.
We are working our way up to "reading habits that are becoming quite binding."
Building lifelong readers takes time, tenacity, and titles. These new books will provide us with whole group, small group, and read-aloud options. We can't wait to meet new and exciting protagonists and their annoying antagonists!
