We Love Arts and Crafts

My Project

Purchasing a Cricut for my classroom will allow my students the opportunity to create arts and crafts projects to display around the classroom and their homes. It will also help us create cards and gifts for parents and classmates. The students in my class are working on their fine motor skills: many students have difficulties grasping scissors and crayons, so it's a struggle to get enough things cut out for our projects.

Although our school has a manual die-cut machine, we only have a few dies for the machine, so it's difficult to express our creativity.

With a Cricut, mats, tools, stylus, and cardstock, the students can glue items cut with the machine on their papers to enhance their coloring when making special projects.
