Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I was blessed enough to receive two standing desks for my students to utilize for their daily learning! I have many students who, even in fifth grade, have the need to stand and move while working and listening. They have mastered using these desks as a tool and I am so proud of them!
Even with the option to stand, they need the option to sit as well.
Our chairs do not reach the desks that they would be using. This way, they'll have the option to sit or stand quickly and interchangeably to complete their work to their best of their ability. I have seen first hand the way these desks have aided in a student's ability to work and listen to instruction, and I would love to help them even more!
