My Project
The items I’m requesting, such as the trampoline, will allow my students to self-regulate, improve focus, and engage in movement-based activities. Many of my students benefit from sensory input to help manage their energy levels and prepare their minds for learning. Trampolines, for example, will allow them to release excess energy safely and controlled, which is essential for students with sensory processing challenges or attention difficulties. The bungee chair will allow students to take those wiggles out and interact during whole group instruction.
By meeting their sensory and movement needs, the resources will create a more balanced and effective learning environment.
For many of my students in this self-contained special education classroom, the trampoline served as more than just a fun activity—it was a critical tool for self-regulation, sensory input, and improving focus
