My Project
My kindergarteners need another opportunity to have physical activity through learning. The child-sized trampoline and educational themed bean bags will allow for students to learn through more gross-motor activities.
Body movement is not only fun for students, but provides a great opportunity for students to learn together, think with their bodies, and have a physical outlet for energy.
Students will use these materials to practice counting, letter names, and letter sounds while jumping, and practice skills such as shapes, letters, colors and numbers with the bean bags. Adding the gross motor activities will allow students to use their whole body in the learning process. When students are up and moving, they are more engaged.
Our culturally diverse school encourages students to explore and express themselves in various art forms, where creativity flourishes. We are committed to integrating arts into the core curriculum for students, fostering creativity and lifelong appreciation for the arts. My students come from all over Indianapolis and come in eager to learn!
