My students need more physical activity at recess and choices in what activities they play. I have requested jump ropes, basketballs, soccer balls, activity scarves, and more.

My Students
Every morning we state our school shared vision and class shared vision of how we help ourselves make good choices, stay stress free, and keep our school comfortable for us to learn. I want my students to be able to have something to do that will help their lifestyles.
My students are curious little beings.
They want to explore and learn more about the world around them. My students are fun, positive about learning new things, and just want to be kids. My school is supportive, especially with learning. We all help each other. We have no limit to what we can do. We learn and we share what we have learned.
My Project
My students are anxious to move and curious to understand the world around them. They are very active, but we have a limited amount of PE equipment. My students would like to have more options for sports they can play at recess. I have requested jump ropes, basketballs, soccer balls, activity scarves, and more. These materials will give my students the opportunity explore different sports and increase their interest in learning about staying fit and being healthy. It has been proved that sports help improve student grades, lessen stress levels, and promote self confidence. Sports can also spark conversation between students and parents. This can help the parents to become more knowledgeable in the idea of getting fit because they will see their kids practicing healthy habits by playing safe sports. Parents will want to get their kids involved in after school sports more if they see their kids taking what they learned at school, home.
This will help my students explore different ways to stay fit and healthy.
I think it is important for us to model how important it is to keep the health of our children on the right track. These items will help my students manage their stress levels, improve confidence, and promote great healthy habits of being a happy kid.
