This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read. We are in need of engaging books to expand our love of reading. We have a very limited supply of books in our classroom library. We need novels from diverse authors and characters that represent our diverse community.
Due to my students varied reading levels, we have had difficulty filling our library shelves with engaging reads for my readers.
My scholars would love to read more anime and graphic novels, such as those requested in this project. More reading opportunities for our students mean better comprehension skills in the future. We are also in need of kick bands.
