My students need sensory materials to help them learn through their senses.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. JABLOW's classroom raised $196

My Students
My kindergarten and first grade students are classified as having an Autism Spectrum Disorder. My students have an abundance of energy and they learn best through many different experiences, especially through their senses.
My six kindergarten and first grade students have various functioning levels and learn in many different ways, however the one common thread between them all is that they learn best when materials are presented in forms that they can physically experience; they can touch, hear, smell, or taste.
My Project
With the sensory tubs and the number pegs, my students will be able to learn about numbers, shapes, and letters by using their senses. They will be able to touch and experience the materials using their hands. They will be able to explore the letters, numbers and shapes while learning about these very important early childhood concepts.
This project will help my students to learn by using their senses.
