Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are highly motivated to work and to better their future by learning work skills. The materials included in our project will be used to help my crew experience different jobs, both within the classroom and around campus.

“Tell me, I forget; show me, I remember; involve me, I understand.”

Our room is set up with different jobs according to the variety of abilities we have among the students. The shredder will allow them to start with the basic skills needed to shred papers safely and efficiently. The paper cutter and binding machine will allow the students to practice following multi step directions in order to bind papers into books. The coffee maker and supplies will be used to help our coffee business grow by being able to make more than a couple of cups of coffee at a time.
